ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The SouthEastern Eating Disorder Conference will be transitioning this year to become the Charleston Leadership & Addiction Summit. Many of our friends and colleagues have had to adjust due to COVID19 over last few years. This year our SEED Family too will significantly adjust to ensure our connections to the behavioral health community remain intact. This year’s conference, the Charleston Leadership & Addiction Summit, August 19-20, 2022, will be hosted at the beautiful Marriott in Charleston, SC.  The foundation of the Charleston Leadership & Addiction Summit is Fellowship, Education and Connection. The focus of this year’s conference is to spotlight Behavioral Health leadership in the face of challenging times and evidence based behavioral health interventions.

Our content has changed but our mission remains steadfast, to bring Industry Leaders and community based providers together to grow and learn from each other. 

We hope to see you this year in Charleston!

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Presenter Information (required for each presenter involved in the presentation)

  • Presenter Information is Required for each presenter involved in the presentation.
  • Please provide an updated CV either by pasting the text below or attaching a file.
  • Max. file size: 50 MB.
  • Reference Documents

  • Provide a 75 word description of the presentation for the program website either by pasting the text below or attaching a file.
  • Max. file size: 50 MB.
  • Provide a 300 word or less abstract describing presentation ideas, themes, and goals either by pasting the text below or attaching a file.
  • Max. file size: 50 MB.
  • Please note: measurable learning objectives must complete the statement: 'Following this presentation, participants will be able to identify, utilize, explain..."
  • Include a description of your professional experience, including: your current title, place of employment (if applicable), professional affiliations, relevant publications, and areas of expertise. Please note that bios must not exceed 100 words and that bios are subject to editing for style and space. Bios will be printed on the event website.
  • All photographs must be at least 300dpi. The photograph must be uploaded as a jpeg only. Do not send your photograph in a Word document or PDF.

    • If my presentation is accepted for the 12th Annual SEED Conference, I understand that: I must register online for the SEED Conference (as a complimentary attendee). I may attend all sessions at no charge. My picture may be used for any/all promotion materials. I am responsible for securing my travel and lodging needs and expenses. For my handouts and slides to be included on the attendee portal, I will provide electronic copies of all materials to [email protected] by JULY 8th , 2020.
